
Carnaby Street is one of London's most famous streets. With its collection of fashion boutique shops that catered to the "mod" and "hippy" lifestyles, Carnaby Street became famous in the 1960s as the heart of fashionable "swinging london" . Some of those ships still exist today and the street is still popular with fashion shoppers the streets is also surrounded by cool bars which are popular with the hip Soho crowd.
Carnaby Street is in Soho just to the East of Regent Street. Nearest tube stations are Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus.
